The Builder Behind HP Building Services
A Lancing-based, multi-trade building and handyman business run hands-on by Harry Peposhi. Over 15 years on the tools across the Sussex coast.
One Tradesman, One Phone Number
HP Building Services Sussex is run by Harry Peposhi, a hands-on local builder with more than fifteen years in the trade. When you call 07598 864363, you speak to Harry. When someone comes out to quote, it is Harry. And when the work starts, he is on site doing it or overseeing it — not managing it from an office.
That matters more than it sounds. Most of the complaints people have about builders come down to the same few things: not turning up, not explaining what changed, and not being reachable once the deposit has cleared. A one-man point of contact removes the gap where those problems usually live.
The business is based at Lancing, BN15 9PB, and works across the West and East Sussex coast — roughly a thirty-kilometre radius. We are a service-area business, so there is no showroom or trade counter; we come to the property.

Quoted Properly, Then Done Properly
Every job starts with a visit. We look at the actual work, talk through what you want, and put a written quote together broken down by element so you can see what each part costs and drop anything you would rather leave. The visit and the quote are free, and there is no obligation attached to either.
No Surprise Extras
The price we agree is the price you pay. If opening something up reveals a problem underneath — and on older properties it sometimes does — you get told what we found and what it changes before we carry on, not after.
Fully Insured
Every job is covered by public liability insurance. We are happy to provide the certificate on request before work starts.
Cleared Up Afterwards
Waste goes with us and the site is left clean. It is a low bar, and it is still the thing customers mention most in reviews.
A Genuinely Multi-Trade Team
Most building jobs need more than one trade. Covering them in-house means you are not the one chasing a plasterer to finish before the decorator arrives, and it means one person is accountable for the result. Browse the full list of services or see completed work in the gallery.
Across the Sussex Coast
We are based in Lancing and cover roughly thirty kilometres in each direction along the coast and inland. There is no premium for your location within that area. If you are just outside it, ask anyway — depending on the job it is often still workable.
